Narrative
The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes a living by executing hit movies for the highest pay. He soon meets his match in the form of a tough British intelligence officer who tracks him down on a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe.

because the lead actress (Lynch) is not great
Eddie Redmayne was truly brilliant in this show, he was spot on with all the different characters he plays in the show and is a great villain, yet you always root for him… she comes across as incredibly arrogant and cold-blooded, even to her family and colleagues, and you don’t want to be caught by her in any way.
She doesn’t show any emotion at any point in the series and you end up just hating her character
The Jackal though – you see two sides, the killer side of him, but then the side he spends with his family where you understand him a little bit more. I loved the shots taken in different locations all over Europe and the fact that the Jackal knows these different languages.
I really hope there’s another season, but I think they need to rethink the female lead
