Narrative
Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they’ve ever faced. Check out the actors behind some of your favorite animated films and TV shows, including Keanu Reeves in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The creators of the previous films mentioned that he played in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2001) and the solo game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) for inspiration. The film is also inspired by narrative elements from the Saturday morning animated television series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993).

SPOILER: There’s a scene in the end credits – Sonic arrives at a New York state park and is confronted by Metal Sonic’s robot army, but is saved by Amy. Rose… Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is hands down the best of the trilogy. Best script, best character development, great humor, and Keanu Reeves is simply a find in the role of Shadow.
Ben Schwartz, Collin, and Idris – they all shined like never before
This movie differs from the first two mainly in tone, this movie is a touching adaptation of Sonic Adventure 2 and they did it better than I ever thought possible. Shadow’s past is depicted in a terrifyingly beautiful way, not to mention his flawless computer model, I was so impressed with the way he looks. Jim Carrey was a stand-up comedian as always, it’s a real pleasure to have him in our franchise, he was incredibly funny in the roles of Ivo and Gerald. As a huge Sonic fan, this movie exceeded my expectations, what a feeling to be a Sonic fan!
Definitely one of the best parts of Sonic’s history
