You Aren't Being Phished. You Are Being "Fattened."

It starts with a text. "Hey David, are we still meeting for tennis?" You reply: "Wrong number." They reply: "Oh, so sorry! You seem polite though. I'm Alice. I run a venture fund in Singapore."
Stop. If you reply, you are already in the funnel. They don't ask for money. They talk about life. They talk about startups. They send you photos of their lunch, their dog, their (fake) office. They are building a "Profile" on you.
The 2025 Twist: They will agree to a Video Call. You see a real person. She looks just like her photos. It is a Deepfake. They are using real-time AI face-swapping (like HeyGen) to mimic a stolen identity. Because you "saw" her, you trust her.
2. The "Fake Exchange" (The Fattening)
Eventually, they mention they are trading a "Liquidity Mining Pool" on DeFi. They don't ask you to send money to them. They say: "Download the official Coinbase Wallet app. It's safe." You feel safe. It's the real app. Then they send you a link to a "DApp" (Decentralized App) to access the mining pool.
The Trap: When you click "Connect Wallet" on that DApp, you aren't logging in. You are signing a Smart Contract that gives them "Unlimited Approval" to spend your USDT. You see a dashboard showing you making 3% daily returns. You put in $10k. It grows to $12k. You withdraw $12k. It works. This is the "Fattening." They let you win so you trust the system. Then you put in the house down payment ($500k). Then you borrow money. The moment the pot hits $1M... the "Customer Support" tells you your account is frozen for a "Tax Audit."

- Scam: "Created 12 days ago." Verdict: 100% Scam.
3. The "Video Hand" Test
If you video chat, ask them to wave their hand in front of their face slowly. Real-time Deepfakes struggle with "Occlusion." If their hand disappears or glitters when it crosses their eyes, you are talking to an AI.
